Description

Made with Love, Mom is a dessert cookbook inspired by the recipes my mom has made for me throughout my life. Designed as a heartfelt gift, the book blends expressive typography with illustrative elements that reflect my Houston roots and the ingredients used in each dessert. The result is a personal and visually rich piece showcasing both design and memory.

Hobby Horse

is a custom typeface that combines bold modern flair and a touch of western charm. Inspired by my Texas roots, I set out to design a typeface with oversized personality—playful, energetic, and full of character. Each letter was crafted in Illustrator, then 3D printed and hand-inked for printmaking. Running the 3D forms through the press resulted in an abudance of brilliant textures and authentic prints, celebrating both digital and traditional processes.

Objective

Create an invitation suite for a fictional gala for a real foundation or organization.

Process

For the gala invitation project, I chose the American Foundation of the Blind as my foundation, and I chose to do a “Night Under the Stars” theme. For my invitation design, I wanted to design something that anyone who recived the invitation would feel intrigued, and excited about. I incorporated many different details that were catered to those who have vision impairments. I created the printed invitation with a particular fold design that, when delivered would give any audience an interactive and enticing feel. I also made my own braille impressions on the invitation for intention and inclusivity.

To design two posters for the Meramec Contemporary Art Gallery for the 2025 Fall and 2026 Spring Seasons

Process

The Art Gallery is a wonderful place on campus and provides many different opportunities for artists to showcase their work. I chose to create a two-sided poster for Fall and Spring, so that when printed multiple times that could be set up together and connect. I wanted to use the electric colors to share the excitement that the Art Gallery brings.

Process

The currency redesign project was based upon famous figures from the Czech Republic and their ties to the community and history of the country. Each banknote features architecture, layered patterns, security strips and front and back designs.

Create a visual identity for the E-sports team, including a logo, digital and print posters, a jersey and a mousepad for your high school.

Process

The high school I attended in Houston, Texas was the Memorial High School Mustangs. I wanted to elevate the mustangs and give the e-sports team an electric design that joined technology and school spirit. The jersey I created with strength in mind, bringing together a team that brings each other up. I leaned into high-energy graphics like glitch textures, angled lines, block elements, and bold typography to reflect the speed and intensity of competitive gaming. Everything is tied together with strong school colors and a sense of movement.

Objective

Design the men’s and women’s soccer posters for the 2024-2025 season in a group project with 2 other students.

Process

After receiving the photoshoot photos of each team, our worked on cutting out each player on Photoshop so we could bring them together in the poster. We also were provided lots of typographic elements including the players names, numbers, the schedule, and their statistics. We used Illustrator and Photoshop to design the poster and bring together a seamless design that was powerful, bold and bright and celebrated the success of the soccer teams.

Branding a Nation: New Zealand

Objective

Create a national identity for the country of New Zealand that reflects the country’s beauty, innovation, and culture.

Process

This project began by researching the country’s history, its current branding through national and tourism websites, and its traditions. I was highly influenced by the Māori culture and their traditional Haka dance. My goal was to create a clean, and modern icon that reflected the identity of the country through the powerful and expressive form of the Haka dance and its meanings of strength, unity, and spirit.

Create a museum branding suite for the traveling exhibition, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Process

I wanted to capture the surreal and curious energy of the Ripley’s brand, so I chose to create a black and white optical illusion that showcased a few of the exhibits you could see while at the museum. Inspired by immersive experiences, I designed a floor to ceiling design for the elevator mockup that is a strange portal to the exhibit, something that would make viewers stop and wonder what is on the other side. The end result of interactive, strange and energetic carries on throughout the digital graphics and the billboard designs catching viewers attention one illusion at a time.

Research and design a poster about a famous Graphic Designer

Process

Herbert Bayer’s influential work at the Bauhaus + Post Bauhaus was full of bold colors, geometric shapes, and a value of negative space. My poster ideation spurred from prior works of Bayer, specifically his Aspen collection. I wanted to make these posters feel as close to the designer as possible, while giving it a modern twist.

A compilation of drawings I created in Drawing 1 class where I used many different forms of drawing utensils such as graphite, charcoal, sharpies, ball point pen, blending pens, and colored pencils.
