Inspired by my Texas roots, I set out to design a typeface with oversized personality\u2014playful, energetic, and full of character. Each letter was crafted in Illustrator, then 3D printed and hand-inked for printmaking. For my invitation design, I wanted to design something that anyone who recived the invitation would feel intrigued, and excited about. I incorporated many different details that were catered to those who have vision impairments. I created the printed invitation with a particular fold design that, when delivered would give any audience an interactive and enticing feel. I leaned into high-energy graphics like glitch textures, angled lines, block elements, and bold typography to reflect the speed and intensity of competitive gaming. We also were provided lots of typographic elements including the players names, numbers, the schedule, and their statistics. Inspired by immersive experiences, I designed a floor to ceiling design for the elevator mockup that is a strange portal to the exhibit, something that would make viewers stop and wonder what is on the other side. Inspired by my Texas roots, I set out to design a typeface with oversized personality\u2014playful, energetic, and full of character. Each letter was crafted in Illustrator, then 3D printed and hand-inked for printmaking. For my invitation design, I wanted to design something that anyone who recived the invitation would feel intrigued, and excited about. I incorporated many different details that were catered to those who have vision impairments. I created the printed invitation with a particular fold design that, when delivered would give any audience an interactive and enticing feel. We also were provided lots of typographic elements including the players names, numbers, the schedule, and their statistics.
